I use Safari on Windows and it's pretty good, and doesn't take much CPU and RAM usage (I use Pentium 4 with 2GB RAM DDR and it's faster than Firefox and Internet Explorer). Well i have to admit, Apple's products are great but sadly they're too expensive especially in my country Indonesia. And by Golly i want to buy a Mac, since I already have consoles for videogames.

I am finding Chrome’s speed to be inconsistent; it seems to alternate between going lightning fast and then hanging for no apparent reason.

I'm loving Chrome at the moment, it's speed is noticeable - there's still a few things that are a bit buggy about it but it's speed is the real thing that sets it apart at the moment.

I think this needs another post. I've been betting for a LONG time that canvas/JS rendering speed would surpass flash sooner or later and looking at the apps on http://www.nihilogic.dk I think that this may now be the case. Man, I can't wait for Flash to be crushed. It's a blight on the face of the internet.

Oi! Mozilla! Apple! Release your similarly-cool JS acceleration trickery now please.

Wow very interesting test. I downloaded Google Chrome today and am liking what I see but still won't use it regularly cause I cannot live with out my Firefox addons.

Agreed. I've only been using it for about an hour or so and it really does seem faster than FF3.
